Max Max

Adoption Pending

Max is a small, five year old mixed-breed Pom/Chi mix who is looking for his forever home. Max is a super sweet dog. He gets along well with other dogs, is energetic and playful, and loves to play in the yard and go for walks. He is also a cuddle and is happy to spend time curled up on the couch with his person. He gets along well with other dogs and with children, but we are unsure how he behaves around cats. While Max is an otherwise healthy dog, he is currently overweight, and will require an active home where he will enjoy lots of walks and exercise. Max will also need to be on a strict, nutrient-rich diet in order to get him back to a healthy weight. Max would be an ideal dog for a single person or an active couple with a fenced yard for him to play in.

If you have a place in your heart and home for Max, please fill out an adoption application at the link above or email us directly at with questions.

Scamp Scamp

Scamp is a senior silky terrier who needs an extra-special family to give him the love and attention he deserves. Scamp s a bit of a "grumpy old man". He will need to warm up to new people and dogs. Cats are unknown and he needs a home without kids. He gets along well with smaller dogs. Scamp can be aloof but he is a cuddler once you get to know him. Scamp's ideal home would be with a person who likes to hang out and watch TV and cuddle. He is overweight for his short little legs and has recently been diagnosed with diabetes and pancreatitis, so someone who will exercise him and keep him on a strict would be great to help get that weight off.

Because of Scamp's medical need, he will likely be adopted out as part of our "Furever Foster" program, with medical care coordinated and funded by our rescue. He requires patience, a special diet, and insulin shots in order to manage his diabetes and keep him healthy.

If you have a place in your home and heart for Scamp, please fill out an adoption application at the link above, or contact us directly with questions at
